I'm guessing that was aimed at me.
I didn't mention the 360 sales because they are roughly the same as last week and roughly the same as last year. Meaning they are just averaging. They have been like that for sometime. If 360 sales drop to even just 5 units sold it would make no difference at all. The 360 has not even begun to use it's cards for this year and is almost back to being neck and neck with the PS3. The point is people actually think PS3 numbers will start to increase again to the numbers we saw over the past 6 months during the price cut and new model. Why will they increase? The only way something increases is if something changes to make people want to buy it. That is nothing to do with having a "precious" console or being a fanboy, that is reality. For PS3 sales to go back up means something has to happen. A price cut, a new model, a big game franchise etc... Seeing as 2 of those things happened only 6 months ago it is unlikely to be happening again soon right?
Where as 360 is coming up to it's 2nd full year since it's last official price cut. Now if the 360 and PS3 are neck and neck almost before those things happen what is likely to happen after 360 get's it's price cut, get's it's new model, get's the natal thing and comes out with another Halo game? = PS3 sell more? To think that makes you a fanboy, to question why it will do that does not.
