I like this thread is more 'what I don't like about _____' than 'why _____ sold poorly.'
I think oh too often a developer thinks of one way to use the Wii remote in an interesting fashion and pretty much uses it as a crutch to justify releasing a game. If you'll look at the big sellers on Wii, while most are backed by a large name/reputation, they have variety. Sure they may be casual games in the sense they're software you won't be playing for more than 15 or so minutes a session but they're not one-trick ponies. Look at Madworld, you beat up guys, you drive them into walls, spikes, etc., you fight a outlandish boss, rinse and repeat. Then you have Wii Sports Resort where you may be playing Table Tennis in one session, then playing Frisbee Golf in another.
Eh, my opinion.
