In theory, I should be happy because I'm not sure if I'm going to buy a 360 anytime soon, so this could only favor me 'cause I own a PS3... but I'd prefer to see Bungie as a First Party belonging to Microsoft, than having an alliance with Activision - worst company on this generation.
Smart move tho, Infinity Ward II (aka Respawn Studios) belongs to EA, and Activision had to get a great team to face 'em. Guess we know why they won't pay any money to West and Zampella, they probably spent millions with this.
