The only thing you are right here is the part where you said nintendo don't cut price, yes they don't, they release player choices instead.
It's probable that nintendo don't release a Player Choice this year, but we will have to wait.
And your example is wrong because Batman AA is a third party game, and third party wii games have price cuts.
