| Famine said: Weren't Final Fantasy VII, Gran Turismo, and Metal Gear Solid credited with moving at least 30 million in hardware combined (Don't know the concrete number, but people attribute those 3 games with making Nintendo settle for 2nd for the first time)? Same thing with PS2: Final Fantasy X, Gran Turismo 3, and Metal Gear Solid 2, weren't they responsible for moving a lot of hardware? I don't what to say if history were to repeat itself: Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, and Metal Gear Solid 4. With PS1, they were released in a one-year period. On the PS2, they were released within the same year. Sony better get on their knees and pray nothing gets pushed back tremendously. |
PS1 and PS2 were in the lead before those games launched, PS3 had 5 million units at FFX launch in japan, 4.5 at GT3's launch in japan,
