A fine 100 AU bukcs price cut.
The Wii has received its first price drop in Australia and New Zealand. Starting tomorrow, 29 April 2010, the Wii will be sold for AU $299.95 (NZ $399.95).
This price drop of AU $100 is much more significant than the AU $50 drop which recently occured for the Nintendo DSi, which was introduced to make space for the DSi XL. Could Nintendo be gearing up for the release of a new home console?
Since its launch, Nintendo has sold over 1.79 million consoles in Australia.
