ALL 360 DVD drives since launch will read at 12x. In terms of raw transfer speed it is black and white that the 360 drive is faster. I'm not saying its entirely your fault you believed another source just you should have conceeded the point it was wrong when provided overwhelming evidence against your original figures and conclusion. Trying to backtrack bringing seek times into the equation was another method you used to try and squirm out of saying a simple honest truth that the 360 DVD transfer speed is faster than the PS3's Blurays drive.
