Than the stand alone Wiimote, Yes. Wiimote + Wii motion plus, No. They're almost the same tech.

Uhhh what? That's certainly an incorrect statement. The key feature of each tech that really makes them work well as motion controllers (well Wii is proven, Move remains to be seen) are fundamentally different. The accelerometers within the respective devices are probably almost identical, but it's the spatial positioning detection that's the truly important part of Wii and Move motion controls and the tech used for spatial positioning detection is completely different.

The end result is probably almost the same (or as close as makes no practical difference), but the tech is certainly not almost the same. And even saying the end result is almost the same might be a premature assertion, because the camera aspect of Move may give it potential for applications that Wiimotion+ can't deliver. I can't say for sure, but some of those tech demos look like they'd be damned hard to do with a Wiimotion+

But man doesn't the name Lol Scragg sound totally made up? I was wondering whether this was a real article or some fake thing. Didn't help that I'd never heard of Cohort Studios either.
