Some people are upset that I state the RSX holds more horsepower than the Xenos. Of course the RSX can perform far more operations per second in general, but that's not all that important without placing this in proper context. Important though is that the Xenos can do 96 vs the RSX can do 136 shader ops per clock, making the RSX more powerful for shading and is an important reason why the Xenos' advantage of more shader op flexibility doesn't matter much from the grand perspective.

In the end though, much of the RSX chip was designed specifically to take advantage of the Cell processor, so any tunnelvision comparisons between mere components are pretty much useless for coming to conclusions.
