I should probably add my technology predictions, for example around launch it was claimed the PS3 could not perform good HDR and anti-aliasing simultaneously. Back then I stated it could be done. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was pretty quick to prove me right.

Also over the years I discussed the potential of performing anti-aliasing using the Cell's SPUs, others claimed that wouldn't be possible. God of War 3 is today's best example of this being possible.

I can also add the worth of Blu-Ray streaming to this list. Some time ago, various ports needed a partial harddrive install. Many claimed PS3 games in general would require a harddrive install or would suffer from long loading times.

I stated with optimised Blu-Ray streaming that would not have to be the case and would produce great results. Games like God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 are the best looking console games out there, they do not require a harddrive install and they provide seamless loading throughout the entire game.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
