I can also add the worth of Blu-Ray streaming to this list. Some time ago, various ports needed a partial harddrive install. Many claimed PS3 games in general would require a harddrive install or would suffer from long loading times.
I stated with optimised Blu-Ray streaming that would not have to be the case and would produce great results. Games like God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 are the best looking console games out there, they do not require a harddrive install and they provide seamless loading throughout the entire game.
