The difference is, when you have a dub that's this bad, and its the only option, you start to see why people are requesting for a second audio track option with the original Japanese voices. Especially since they probably spent all of a week and very little money making this dub. |
True, I have heard much better game dubs than this. Nonetheless, as bad as the localization is, I really can't think of any other reason to skip this title. It's the first genuine RPG for Wii, and a pretty good one at that (according to the reviews in Japan) That and to me, voice work is not a major reason to purchase a game: the content and entertainment value is. And I'm sure they'll have an option to mute the voices (don't they have something like that in the Japanese version)?
