One game from a new developer to the series.
According to Activision blogger Dan Amrich, the publisher plans to release three Call of Duty games between now and April 2012.
"They've confirmed three [CoD] games in the next two years," Amrich wrote on the Facebook page for the group 'Gamers Against Bobby Kotick and Activision'. "Seeing as how there is a pattern of one new COD game every year, this is one new COD game from one new developer, and in a different genre from the core games we've seen."
In March Activision announced that beyond this year's Call of Duty from Treyarch, a new title for release in 2011 is also in development, as is an action adventure Call of Duty game from recently formed Sledgehammer Games.
