I thought the intro for Galaxy was epic, but the overall narrative was lacking (like with all Mario games). Disney animations appeal both to the fairytale, whimical senses but have awesome narratives as well. Actually, I would say that for the majority of classic Disney animations someone other than the Disney company wrote the narratives. For example, The Brothers Grim, Hans Christian Anderson, Lloyd Alexander, T. H. White, Collodi, J. M. Barrie, etc.
