Can the XBox 360 total sales stay in front of PS3 total sales?

Well, I don´t think that´s true...sure it helped the 360, but I don´t think that alone could´ve stopped the PS3 from overtaking the 360...the Wii also launched 1 year later than the 360 and passed it a long time ago.

I still say what determined the PS3 couldn´t outsell the 360 was the whole approach Sony took with the system...a ridiculous $500/$600 price tag was just what MS needed to stay ahead of Sony this gen.

If the PS3 had been released at $300/$400, I think the PS3 would be in second place by now...especially with the bad press MS got because of the widespread RROD issue.

BUT...because of their arrogance, Sony guaranteed themselves 3rd place.

Yeah i agree you with there, $500/600 Price tag was way too much! Considering how i live in the UK the price tag was 400 pound when i bought my PS3, If they released it around the $300 range it would of probably just about outsold the 360 overall
