I read that, looking for the part where he says Flower isn't a game, and didn't see it.
But, in the comments, I did see this gem:

Guy: "When you say that a video game is not art you are combining the computer program and the act of playing the program.
"If the chess pieces can be art but the act of playing chess is not, then you must concede that a computer program game can be art even if the act of playing is not."
Ebert did respond later, but all he said was basically "yeahbut most chess sets aren't art". Which I will gladly concede of video games (shovelware).
