Let's take the example of the upcoming Prince of Persia. The game is different on all consoles except on PS3 and 360 where they are the same. So the sales should be considered differently on PS3 and 360 even though it's the same game?

Don't the two userbases have different buying habits?

Generally no. A hit on one HD console is usually a hit on the other. They both have an edge when it comes to certain genres, but I'd say their buying habits are more similar than different.
