This man has a point and on top of that this wasn't a cut down port like MW either it's was touched up and enhanced in certain areas to make up for lack of MC so more money has gone into this then MW.

Edit: One more thing the Wii version had legs to reach 480k do people think the HD versions will be even selling after the first few months?


It was toched up and enhaced because it was ported to more powerful consoles, and if the wii and the ps3 and 360 had the same capabilities and enhacement would mean something, but this upgrades dont even leave it as an average HD console game so it means very little.

And the game will probably lack legs because it isnt good and has competition, but it seems it will do similar numbers to the wii version on both consoles. Comparing a game that is subpar to the rest on the hd consoles and of a not known developer and series to a game that has the name of one of the most well known series, best selling, and better than most of the shooters the wii had is ridiculous.

 

Only thing rediculous is how some people are trying to dismiss it, fact is it was touched up no two ways about it, Suda could of just done a straight port with no enhancements and say f**k it, MW was dropped on Wii with no incentive to buy it two years late and save the fact that 14/15m people had already bought the game two years earlier it's clear only Wii only players were really up for MW while NMH was ported over with some added extras. Grasshopper are also quite known and have been since Killer 7 and the last statement is laughable when the are practically no shooters on the Wii and even then Red Steel 2 and Metroid Prime Trilogy rape the MW port easily. At this rate it won't reach the 480k mark the Wii version is at going by how the HD market works.

What, so now having the same game, with still shitty graphics(might look good compared to the first one) and no popularity at all means it should sell a lot just because its "hardcore"? Ignoring the fact that it was launched 2 years later?.

Of course MW was going to sell on the wii, its call of duty, Red steel 2 wasnt out by then, and what other good shooter besides Metroid has the wii? A known one that means a guy that goes to a shop sees it and prefers it to MW. NMH has to compete against other hack and slash games like DMC4, GOW3, NG2, etc... and maybe other games like GTA4 and Saints Row, all well know and with better quality than this port.

Thats why I think the comparison is stupid, Im not saying its the wiis fault, and that hardcore games dont sell on the wii, its just that this game sucks and its even more evident in PS360 so thats why I think these sales are irrelevant.

And I dont know if any version will reach the originals game sales, I dont think they will, and I cant blame anyone because this game doesnt have much to offer anyway. But it seems a similar number of people got the game in ps3 and 360 to the ones that got it on wii initially, and I dont believe that "how the HD market works" since I think legs depend on the game and the similar titles aviable in its console more than the simple "Wii has legs, HD are frontloaded"statement. 


Sorry but that's mute at best, first off how many HD games have sold the amount NMH has and gone on to show legs? The market is a factor too as the HD market are the ones prone to buy the games straight off the bat instead of over time as they're the more informed userbase, secondly on MW selling yeah to those who may only have a Wii and want a shooter which isn't a lot of people considering by now anyone looking for such a game will at least have one HD console, Red Steel 2 was in the eyes of Wii owners long before the port was announce.

Thirdly your poor excuse about competing against other games well here's news for you it did that on the Wii when it was release bang in the middle of a first party onslaught of Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Brawl, MK Wii, Fire Emblem while here you've only named one recently released game in GOW3. What makes this excuse even more poor is that many Wii owners have HD consoles so it would of been competing against DMC and NG2 and all other games you can regardless anyway so at best this point doesn't even stand.

The rest of your post is your own opinion like the graphics and what it has to offer, it's a fair comparison no matter how people try to spin it, both ports of two year old games only one is cut down the other is touched up, don't get on edge when people point out the double standards often seen in boards.
