I sold my Wii last week, I did my research as I do before I buy all my games. To many the library is unappealing and the the games that are good are to hard to find among the piles of shovelware sold in local stores. Don't attack his opinion just because you have some sort of Wii loyalty. |
If you can't find quality Wii games at brick and mortar, try online shopping. Especially when Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop offer free shipping these days and have great selections online, online shopping is very worth it these days. If you still can't find what you are looking for from those merchants, theres always ebay and what not. I have yet to have encountered any problems yet with finding games that I want after acquaintaining myself with online shopping 7+ years ago.
There are literally hundreds of games on the Wii, I don't see how you can't find at least a dozen games that would fit with your interests. The same goes for the 360, PS3, DS and PSP. Unless you really need the money for something else, I wouldn't advise him on selling the Wii. Especially with all the jrpgs coming out for it and his interest in the genre. Unless he only wants to play in HD.
