FF13 didnt do that well. Sales were decent. But not Gears 2 levels. Gears 3 will probably hit 7 mill +

After 17 weeks on sale, Final Fantasy XIII is sitting at 4,674,318 units sold. With only the first week of those sales being in the Holiday season, in one region.

After 17 weeks on sales, Gears of War 2 was sitting at  4,653,142 units sold. Despite having 9(?) weeks of being on sale in the Holiday season, in 2 regions.

So what the hell are you talking about?

yeah but ff 13 is being bundled in japan/america/some countries in europe. it would probably have about 1.5 million sales less without bundles
