FF13 didnt do that well. Sales were decent. But not Gears 2 levels. Gears 3 will probably hit 7 mill +

After 17 weeks on sale, Final Fantasy XIII is sitting at 4,674,318 units sold. With only the first week of those sales being in the Holiday season, in one region.

After 17 weeks on sales, Gears of War 2 was sitting at  4,653,142 units sold. Despite having 9(?) weeks of being on sale in the Holiday season, in 2 regions.

So what the hell are you talking about?

FF13 was multiplat. FF13 vs is not. FFvs 13 is an offshoot. FF10 2 sold considerably less than FF10. I expect FF13 vs to sell half of what FF13 does.
