PS3 do not has a mass appeal exclusive shooter like Halo and Gears of War, hope still lies upon Killzone 3 or Resistance 3 to master the shooter market and make its name well known outside of Sony fans circle, COD 4 has bested Halo which once was thought invisible, so its still probable.
Mean while PS3 will still outsell Xbox worldwide because it has a much wider genre mix (MMO, action adventure, hack and slash, JRPG, ...and some shooters, though no Halo) and it is basically a much better machine (5 hrs Splinter Cell has proven the jokes of last-gen DVD in HD game fight, why cant Ubisoft use 3 DVDs for the game?)
