Look, there is a very valid car for car enthusiasts by both Subaru and Mitsubishi. Admittedly, both are tuned econoboxes (which makes complaining about a Muscle Car a bit hypocritical), but they're still a lot of fun. The normal Impreza and the Eclipse are the WRONG ones. The normal Impreza is the Subie Econbox. Hardly inspiring. If you had said the Impreza STI, I'd agree it's a great car, but disagree about thinking it's superior to a muscle car (since the concepts are so similar).

The Eclipse is just WRONG. It's not even a "rally import." It's FWD. I pray you know what that means. It's a joke. It's not even "sporty." It's like an Audi TT--a hairdresser's car--but much uglier. The correct answer is the Mitsubish Lancer Evolution. It's also a tuned econobox like the STI.

Yea. When I was a kid, I wanted a Ford RS200. 4 cylinder with 450hp. AWD. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. That's a rally car.
