So yes, graphics not comparable to Metroid Prime, but even 2 N64's duct taped together would cry and cut themselves when asked to play ED.
I think my main complaint with the eternal darkness graphics was that the centurion guy who you play in the first level looks the worst of any, despite being the character you see the 2nd most. I could be wrong though, haven't played the game in way too long - I bought the game 2nd hand and it was scratched and chipped, now it doesn't work any more :'(
