I don't think Killzone is a fair comparison, due to the first one having a major case of the sucks.

That said, I'm not convinced a niche series such as Siren is a good comparison for GT5 either. The PS3 is great at selling big budget, well advertised titles, hence why MGS4 and God of war are doing so well and why most of us have high expectations for GT5. However, the PS3 is pretty bad at selling niche titles compare to the PS2 (hey, ignoring the Wii, what console isn't bad at selling niche titles compared to the PS2)

Edit:

On topic, we really have to answer a few questions here

Will MW2 hit 10 million

Will GT5 beat it to the punch?

Will GTA5 or another Cod game get there first

The answer to the first is a hearty 'most likely'

The second is a big 'no'. GT5 certainly has the capacity to sell 10 million, but it'll take a long time

We have heard nothing of GTA5, so it's not gonna release any time soon. I'm personally predicting it'll be released on the PSWii60, which will take a few sales away from the PS3 version. As for the next CoD, I dont think it'll beat its older brother to 10 million

We could argue all day about what "sucked" or not, that's subjective and irrelevant. It still went on to sell 2 million copies.

It's still one of Sony's notabe franchises and HAS improved since the PS2 days.

My point is that if a game on the PS3 outsells a less good game on the PS2, then it isn't necessarily due to the PS3 being good at selling games. Equally, if the PS3 failed to sell a bad game, that shouldn't be looked upon as a negative
