I sold a used DS for $105 on Ebay not too long ago.
Bought it for $35 with a broken hindge, repaired it for $25 in parts, and sold for $105. Positive feedback received. Made about $30 after fees and mailing.
Decided not to do it again as profit was so low for the hassle of repairing, selling, and mailing.
That is most likely what these are; refurbished DSes.
