Well "slogans" like that make the average person SWOON over them. The people who think outside of political parties(aka not mindless zealots) are usually disgusted by empty talk like that as they SHOULD be. If they are copying Obama's campaign get ready for some REALLY REALLY annoying crap.

Obama's slogan was *kind of* justified, at the time the USA needed a change in their politics, whether the change that was needed has been delivered is another topic.

But UK politicians (and I imagine nearly all politicians around the world) have copied Obama's extremely successful campaign, and the cheap copycat gimmicks just don't have the same effect, they're just annoying.
