So I have had this old SONy Vaio Desktop computer (the model is so old sony don't make em anymore) for the last ten years.

The best game I could play with no major crashes is probably "The Movies" (by Lionhead studios).

And now my parents are gonna give me a new laptop as a present! Obviously I want to play games on it so MAC is out of question, and I want this laptop to stay with me throughout uni which will start in september & will carry on for 5 years, so reliability is KEY.

Now which laptops would you reccommend? Being a SONY Sheep I thought VAIO might be good, but the word on the street isn't the best for VAIO.

To make it easier here are my "key points" I want in the laptop:

1. Be able to last for 5 years and shouldn't have issues like every month = Reliability

2. Be able to play latest PC games on a good setting (not necessarily "high) & be able to play Pc games for the coming years = Future Proof

3. Should be kind of stylish = Nice to look at

4. Budget is between £500 & £1,500.......possibly higher.

5. Should be Windows 7

EDIT:

IMPORTANT POINT -- Should have a  HDMI port and be able to act as a MONITOR for Ps3! (if thats even possible)

Please help!
