when are you gonna learn not to comment on the things you think you know but in reality u don't????

Oh thank you for the video.  After seeing it it looks much better than the pic shown haha.  Just a bad pic from the game.  Actually looks quite spectacular.

yea it does look much better in motion,,,i agree. It's gonna be the ebst lookign multiplat engine .this will hopefully see to it that the UE3  die.

graphic comparsion with KZ2 are not that fair,,,,This game still has time to be polished,,,it's open world with real time destruction.

on the eyes KZ2 is more apealing but again it's not as impressive as cryengine when you take in acount what cryengine offers.

This is an awesome news for us gamers.

the only reason i made the thread was casue i though it will be imperssive engine wise and will top KZ2,U2 and the likes graphic-wise,,,but graphically it's short of those on the consoles but it is impressive nevertheless.

That's the thing, Killzone 2 because it was designed as a rather linear and scripted experience means they could "fake" events. The techniques they used also allowed them to "fake" a lot of the visuals and effects to make the game look more appealing as you've stated. Sometimes they come off whilst other times certain textures seen in certain lights can just look a little off. Cryengine 3 does a lot more on the same hardware whilst still looking visually impressive. It wouldn't suprise me to see the game looking a lot better when released than these screens and vid.
