They are both HnS and should be treated as such , they are not in different genres.

Heaven forbid I have an opinion different from yours.

God of War 3 is a action adventure game. I don't know how you would classify bayonetta as I haven't played the full game.

I'll go on a limp but I don't see everything people are raving about with bayonetta. The demo makes it seem like a boring version of devil may cry and concidering dmc4, that's saying a lot. This is not me trolling. Frankly it felt extremely boring. That is my opinion.

I didn't get it for said reason which is why I can't comment on the full game.

 

Though animations are more than just their fluidity. It's also about the animations themselves.
