my opinion having played both:
GOW is much better game overall.the only thing bayonetta has going is the over the top combos which is not necessarily better but just different.
everything else from graphics to story line to music to attention to details are superior in GOW.
to top that of bayonetta is one of the most unlikable gaming character to play as a mature gamer like myself ,,,a bitchy librarian ,,,,give me a break.
I understamd the sudden love of 360 owners for bayonetta but wait until the second one comes out .it will be lead platfrom on PS3 as confirmed by platinum games so PS3 will be the same or slightly better .then all of 360 owners enthusiasm for this game ends just like ninja gaiden series.
I mean how many threads did we have claiming that ninja gaiden 2 was better than god of war when it was exclusive to 360?but it got a better version on PS3 and all of a sudden none of the 360 owners defend it anymore.
predictable behavior is kinda boring ;)
