Spyware, viruses, personal information?

No offense, but do you have any clue what will happen if the PS3 is hacked?

At most you'll see HDD loading, USB loading, custom firmware and tons of homebrew. Nothing of any sort that effects any of us here when we play our games, just as how it doesn't effect me, you or anyone here when they play their DS, 360, Wii, PS2, GC, PS1, XBox, PSP, etc...

We will end up getting a feature similar to what the 360 has now with the game installations, only differences being that once it is installed you no longer need to use the disc and/or put wear and tear on your BD drive.

I would say that benefits me, not hurt me.

That sounds nice :D

*Hugs his 80GB Linux capable PS3*

Oh it definitely would be nice, especially considering how cheap and easy it is to upgrade a PS3 HDD.

I would love to turn on my system, boot up a program in my "Games" section and be presented with a nice looking UI that lists all of my PS3 titles with their boxarts.

I have that on my Wii and I absolutely love it. The games runs faster too. It did wonders for Mario Party 8 and would be a dream for fans of sports games, which happen to be worst culprits when it comes to insanely long loading times.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
