ok people, next time someone even thinks about posting something like this do the following.

Check the actual date on a calendar.

If the day = Sunday & it is a Nintendo 1st party game, rumor may be true. However, if the date is the first or last of the month, dismiss it as a placeholder and don't bother posting it.

If the day = Tuesday & any other publisher, rumor may be true. However, if the date is the first or last of the month, dismiss it as a placeholder and don't bother posting it.

For America perhaps but lets not make a single blanket rule for this. For example, if the release date was found on an Australian data base then the general rule of thumb to confirm validity is to check if the date lies on a Thursday. All video games and cinema movies release on Thursday's (there are some exceptions, for example New Super Mario Bros. Wii released on a Wednesday) so therefore there are more factors to consider than just 'must be Sunday.'
