I am fairly certain Uncharted 2 did not do this... well it certainly did not do background loading, as all the cut scenes were skip-able....

This is good, but loading behind cut scenes can be annoying if before fights or something. As in, you get somewhere, trigger an un skip-able cut-scene, and then are attacked and then die. If you have to sit through that cut-scene again that can get annoying but hopefully they won't do that. I remember having to do that in Gears of War 1, dying repeatedly and then having to watch a cut scene (though admittedly that was only because I didn't know how to skip the cut scenes!)
