Couldn't stand the demo, personally--didn't feel like a Splinter Cell game at all. |
I'm with you, man. While I could stand the demo, I didn't care for all the changes brought in it. I hate that we can't drag bodies and that whole DLC business Ubi said but a real splinter cell goes through without a body count (unless part of the mission or something) .

Exactly. I miss the original design they had for this game, which was kind of like The Bourne I
dentity/modern-day Assassin's Creed. THAT would have changed it up but still made it feel distinctly 'stealth'.

Well....it did look interesting but I'd be a major critic because all that I saw of hobo Sam was too much of a blending with it's new series (at the time): Assassin's Creed. I do like this direction more but the demo wasn't that impressive.

Well, it was a little different than AC. For one, you didn't do parkour. But what really interested me was how you interacted with the environment (ie if you're in an office building and a guard recognizes you, you could fling papers off a desk into his face and bash him with a computer monitor, the type of thing that would happen in Bourne).
Ah well, c'est la vie
I will say that coop is still piquing my interest for this game--I'll still give it a rental, as Ubisoft Montreal makes great games.
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
