FEAR? Seriously? Goddammit. The first one stands among the most overrated titles in history in my eyes and the second one was so bland I couldn't even finish it.

Sorry, but I have to ask. If you didn't like the first why did you bother with the second (which was worse than the first)?

Thought I'd give the series a chance to redeem itself, sometimes sequels are a lot better than original, like Neverwinter Nights 2 and Baldur's gate 2 and Half-Life 2. Of course, in this case I was wrong and I made the same mistake with Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

You didn't like them either? I simply cannot get myself to enjoy them at all, too grey, repetetive, enclosed, incredibly predictable ripped off "horror" elements, cheap trick AI (look, let's surround the player in a cutscene) and gimmicky gameplay (slow motion was done 100 times better in Max Payne). The shooting part has nothing in games such as Half-Life 2 or Modern Warfare and if you want a scary game go play Condemned (both of them). I know the majority disagrees but this is how I feel at least.

neverwinter nights 2 is nowhere near as good as the first one , completely different developer as well

I was of the same thought however, I then went back and played the original and could really see how the second had really developed over the first. Love the first one but the second is worthy of praise as well.

Also, Obsidian are a good WRPG developer so it shouldn't matter if Bioware didn't make it.
