Not to sound like I'm boasting, but I predicted the Wii was going to be a huge success when it was unveiled in 2006 at E3. I was on the video game board on IMDB saying the Wii will dominate this generation and people there laughed at my predictions. I knew the Wii was going to be huge because it was different and introduced new video game concepts.
I knew if it weren't for the Wii I would have gave up video games for good. I have been gaming since the Atari 2600 and it feels like "been there, done that" with games dressed with prettier graphics. I needed new experiences so I bought the Wii which is the only console I own.
I wasn't really concerned about video games in 2004 (I'm a lapsed gamer) so I was indifferent to the DS.
