You bring up some good points. However you have to realize that the Wii titles don't sell enough to be considered very successful. You list some of the best selling Wii third party titles against some of the not so well selling third party games on 360/PS3. Example RedSteel2 failing to sell as well as the Conduit and will likely fall short of UbiSoft's minimum 500,000 copies. With none of the exclusive Wii shooters breaking the million mark albeit the first RedSteel I can't see how you can consider the Wii as a viable platform for hardcore shooters and online titles.
That being said third party hardcore titles will sell from established franchises like MonsterHunter for example. However new titles have a hard time. I think The Conduit 2 might be able to change that and so could other titles. However I think publishers are expecting to much for the Wii. 300,000 copies should not be considered a failure considering the budget that goes into it. I'd say anything over 200,000 should be considered a success when compared to a HD game that sells like 400,000.
