PS2 sold dramatically better at comparable and higher pricepoints than PS3 has, and that gets even more aggravated when you adjust for inflation. DS has far outpaced GBA at higher pricepoints too, same for Wii and GameCube. Price hasn't been PS3's issue in Japan for the most part, it's was more a debilitating factor in the west. |
