yea that much is true, but having experienced a 3d tv (the samsung one which I hear is the worst of the bunch when it comes to 3d) I have to say, it is an experience worth the money.. and consumers are VERY interested based on studies done by all the companies jumping onto the 3d tv bandwagon.
