As for typing, The one I have used is in a case. This lets you lean it upright like a keyboard if you want to type on it. As for the OS and what can be done, we will find out what the new OS will do in just a few days. 4.0 will be unveiled on the 8th.
And for the same reasons some people like Apple products for no reason, I get the feeling you hate them for no reason. In parts of the population, brand loyalty (or hate) seems to creep into peoples ability to make objective opinions.
When you say things like "iPad just blows", you are showing this. There are many reasonable reasons why you have no use for an iPad. That being said, calling it a shitty device has far more to do with emotion, and nothing to do with the collection of metal, glass, plastic, and electronics that make up the iPad. |
See the typing thing is not it at all. Either your neck gets raped or your wrists, if you tilt it up your wrists have to tilt up as well. Unless you dopr the money for a keyboard it's absolutely horrendous and it feels like a very poorly planned out feature. But if you get the keyboard dock you lose the whole size argument since you have to carry it around as well.
I hate Apple products because they are overpriced and don't offer anything in return for that price. It's been true of their PCs for a decade now, and now they just expanded their expensive, glorified, piles of shit arsenal with the iPad. Furthermore, to trey to justify their retarded pricing, they try to stifle anyone that tries to do anything even mildly similar, i.e. HTC. Then when they are about to get their asses handed to them, i.e. Sun Microsystems, they shut the fuck up.
Also there are no uses for an iPad to justify anything over $150. I can't edit my code, compile, or run it. I can't write my homeworks with it, I can't honestly do anything on it other than surf the web. Even typing on it, as I mentioned, is very poorly done on the iPad.
As for surfing the web, my android phone is almost as fast, comes with a qwerty keyboard, and is infinitely smaller. Oh yeah, it also makes calls and has a built in beastly camera. It also only set me back $100.
