Yeah, I didn't bother leveling up Haar much. I didn't use any of the units with vulnerabilities (ie pegasus knights or wyrvern riders) if I could avoid it, they were just too vulnerable. I also didn't use mages much actually. My team consisted of lots of laguz, some cavalry, swordsmen, and one axe wielder so that I could use hammers
