They were always big. 2D Mario still sold well on the portable systems.

"The problem is, nobody has made the right game. Take Castle Crashers, for instance - it's a great beat-em-up game, that will end up with well over a million sales. That's quite a lot for a download-only 360 exclusive, which I think severely limits its potential. I think the right game could easily overtake Streets of Rage's peak sales."

But this is a good argument. Heck, that means the sales are dependent on the game, not the audience (something I hate).



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
