You're telling me.  All three did in the beginning.  Microsoft no longer does really on console prices (at least not ridiculously) and Nintendo has started to play ball a bit.

But Sony is still a bitch at the moment.  For example, a Dual Shock three costs $US90 here.

If  retailers selling them at 97 AUD It might be because retailers are gouging you.
