First off, there's already been two new Fire Emblem games this gen, including one for Wii. Not to mention all the Advance Wars games. So with that fact alone, Intelligent Systems could take a break and make a new Paper Mario game (or even an original title that isn't tied to a tactical RPG).
Second of all, Super Paper Mario is considered by many to be a less than stellar title in the Paper Mario series when compared to the first two. Many Paper Mario fans are just calling for a revival of the series to return to what it once was. And I am also one of those people. The original Paper Mario is one of my 5 favorite RPGs of all time, and I want Intelligent Systems to return to what made that formula great.
And lastly, there's always the fact that the Paper Mario titles sell better, giving Nintendo an incentive to make more of those.
