"every new game you make should be dramatically better than the last."
Gaming history shows it doesn't work that way. And again, licensed games are not supposed to be improved from the last game by a studio. They are supposed to be on time.
"There hasnt been an HVS game that people talk about like its Halo or Half Life."
They made licensed games. They weren't given two or three years of extra development like Rare was with Goldeneye.
"They just arent a studio with a proven track record of blockbuster high quality games."
They haven't made any games before TC that were supposed to be that anyway. Do you have any idea of licensed games versus major core games?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
