PS3 again crushing 360 worldwide, being 100k ahead even with shortages.

248 k vs 158 k is a huge weekly gap, PS3 sold 56,5 % more than its cheaper competitor (more than 3:2 worldwide).

Tough times for MS, Natal can't come soon enough to help 360 sales a bit.

360 still outsells PSP for last place console, but it could take the lead (in failure I mean) with the release of MGS : Peace Walker.

Huh?  The reason it sold so much is that the US is no longer seeing much of a shortage and the GoW3 boost finally caught on.

Also, the 360 is the same price as the PS3.  The 360 sku with 120gb is the same price as the PS3 120gb.  You can't really claim a 360 is cheaper when the 360 sku that is cheaper doesn't have a matching PS3 sku.  That's like saying the iPod Touch 8GB is cheaper than the Zune HD 16GB.  Not to mention that the 360 Elite makes up 75% or more of total 360 sales.

So please in the future don't act that the Arcade 360 is the only sku out there.  It's not even the most selling 360 sku.

From what I know, they did up the supply a bit, but they still haven't completely replenished it in the US.

Also correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the elite model just barely ahead of the arcade in terms of sales statistics?

I don't have any hard recent evidence to show you, but a while back in 2009 they released the average sale price and it was $290 (when the Pro, Arcade, and Elite were still around).  Doing the math on that figure showed that the Pro + Elite made up ~75% of the sales.  Really I think the the only time the Arcade has ever been a large seller (reaching about 50% of the sales) was during the 2008 holiday season directly following the price drop.  I'm sure the percentage rose again over the holidays in 2009, but probably not as high as 50% since there was no change to the Arcade pricing this time around.

Actually, this link would suggest that it is currently a 50-50 split:
