If the game deserved to sell more it would have. The franchise has been out for years, it's a Nintendo IP. Yet still lacks massive penetration compared to some other games like DMC. Clearly the game doesn't deserve to sell more or it would have. Not that the Prime Series helped it's reputation. Yes they were a good game in their own style, but FPS put off a lot of people. I for one liked the side scrollers, but I avoid the FP view very much. I would love to see the game more like DMC, Gaiden or something rather than an FPS. So no While Prime games were good I firmly believe that it hurt it's reputation more than improved it.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
