Difficulty of the game depends on the player. I guess I could elaborate more on what I meant by "easy" on previous reply. I play Pokemon Diamond. I chose Pinlup which evolved into water/steel pokemon. It's important that you use the correct element to fight since any pokemon could easily be killed in 1 hit if hit by something "effective". If you focus on a few pokemon and only level those, you will be leveled along your "quest" without having to grind for xp like the older rpg's. Each pokemon could be immume/half/1x/2x/4x to another pokemon. 4x damage only happen when you are using dual type pokemon. For example, grass/ice, both weak against fire, and will receive 4x damage when hit by fire type attack. That is pretty much a KO hit. So, if you know how to use the elements to your advantage and you're always near the max level of the npc you're fighting on the story line. That, I see as "easy". It is good too since I don't have the kind of grinding time like I used to anymore (reason why I stopped FF3 half way to play something else). IMO, it is a must play for any rpg fan. Play for the gameplay, don't hate it because it's... cutesy. ps. remember to save once a while, you could get totally wiped out :) Water, Flying and Electric are recommended.
