Sounds good, but how would you shoot? Is Natal accurate enough to register you twisting you finger, thats one method I could think of, but it wouldn't be very accurate with the timing, so the AI would have to be dumbed down a bit so they stay up long enough to register a shot. Any game that involves active movement should work well with Natal, dance games, sports games, etc. I think maybe RTS's could work, if it can read your finger like a pointer, then it could overlay things like world maps over the screen so you could order your units around, kind of like a touch screen only without actually touching the screen. Although your arms might get a bit tired holding them up for extended periods. Still, until we know what it can do, hard to say what games would work well with it. Dodgeball does sound pretty sweet though. |
It depends, if Natal is accurate enough then moving your finger (our simply keeping your finger bent) could work. If not then pointing alone should be enough. The game wouldn't be about aiming but about taking the shot when your in the clear, so as soon s you see an opening, point your hand and the game will auto fire. So dodge, run, point/fire, repeat.
