This is what I have been waiting for! This is the game that defines motion controls for me, it's not a slight improvement over anything before, it's not something that might as well have been played on any other platform and it's not a minigame collection! It is a full game, filled with traditional gaming values (a 'core' game, so to speak) that is absolutely exclusive to motion controls, and it is awesome!

There was a game before this one for me. I recommend you play Godfather Blackhand Edition for the Wii. The title might have some flaws (incredibly, they messed up the pointing and shooting part... it's not something easy to mess up on the wii), but the motion controls for close combat were amazing. The first wii game I played and what got me hooked on the wii.

I thought the same as you. Something that could not have been done before as a slight improvement and not a minigame collection.

So I've heard, and I'm certainly looking more into it now than I was earlier, but I'm still on edge as I was never a fan of GTA-styled games.

I played Godfather on the PS2 and original Xbox- it was a solid and good game (8.0/10). The graphics were good for its time, and the gameplay although repetitive after a while, was good enough that I wanted to play it until the end, on both consoles.

It would be a good idea to at least play it once if you find it at a cheap price; I don't know about the Wii version, I've never played it.
